How they have been in business as long as they have is beyond me. This place needs some management in the worst way. We had several different servers approach our table and waited almost 15 minutes for our requested check before we simply walked to register without one. I’m not sure what the issue was on this particular evening but as delicious as the homemade desserts looked an hour and a half spent here was too long to try one. Unfortunately timing was way off because not even the 2 grilled cheese kids meals came out at same time. The fried pickles were very good and coleslaw was amazing. I could understand a trace of light pink here or there trying to ensure not burning or overcooking it but when it’s specifically ordered burned if needed then make sure it’s done. When a customer stresses very well done and it comes out spongy to touch any cook knows it’s not done.

I cook them all the time without any problems. I don’t see why it is so hard to cook a steak.

The third time it came to table it was still pink in spots but at this point we had been there well over an hour so I cut the done parts off and ate them. It came to table again and was still very pink in areas and was sent back again with same instructions. Well obviously the cook didn’t believe what she said or can’t cook because the first time it came to table I knew it wasn’t well simply by the way it looked but I cut into it anyways and found it medium at best so it was sent back once again saying well well well even if it needs to be burned. The waitress wrote it down that way and later said she personally told cook my request. I ordered a steak and stressed I wanted it cooked well well well well done even if it required them burning it to get it done. The menu was pretty basic as is the decor. We ordered an appetizer and 4 meals 2 of which were kids meals. Drink order was taken promptly and brought to table quickly. There was no wait to be seated and place was about half full.

They were open and parking lot was half full so we stopped. We have heard about this place and driven by it many times but they were always closed.
